Ordit was founded by fire compliance experts Craige Hills and Mark Stanley, who spent more than twenty years helping businesses and building managers meet safety standards across Australia.

After years of seeing the same challenges repeated such as missed renewals, lost paperwork, and inconsistent reporting, they decided to create a system that solved these problems for good.Today, Ordit provides a unified platform where compliance records, inspections, maintenance logs, and safety data come together in one secure digital environment.

To ensure the highest levels of security and reliability, our software is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS provides enterprise-grade infrastructure. This allows us to deliver strong data protection, 99.9%+ uptime, scalable performance, and compliance with global standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.”
Data Security & Infrastructure
All data transmitted to and from Ordit services is secured using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption with a minimum of 256-bit encryption. Data at rest is encrypted using the native encryption provided by AWS services (e.g., RDS encryption, S3 encryption).
Data Governance & Multi-Tenancy
Ordit applications temporarily cache some non-encrypted Protected Information (e.g., emails, addresses) locally, strictly scoped per user session. We are Developing a policy to enforce local encryption and implement Mobile Device Management best practices, with a formal plan for enhanced client-side security due in Q1 2026.
Operational & Policy
AI/ML Components
Ordit does not currently utilise any AI or Machine Learning components in the core product. We are, however, Exploring future applications in areas like anomaly detection, smart incident response management, and compliance audit captures. We will inform users transparently should we integrate such features.
