How to Use the QR Code to Register Your Pet

Residents and occupants can easily register their pets through the Ordit QR Code provided by their Strata Manager or Building Owner. This digital registration process ensures your pet’s details are securely recorded and linked to your building for compliance, approvals, and communication with management.

 

When You Need to Use This

You’ll need to register your pet using the QR code when:

● You’re a new occupant or owner moving into a pet-friendly building managed by Ordit.

● The building requires pet registration for compliance and record-keeping.

● You’ve recently adopted or added a new pet and need to update your building’s records.

Step-by-Step: Registering Your Pet Using the QR Code

1. Locate and Scan the QR Code

Find the QR code provided by your Strata Manager or Building Owner.
 You can also find it displayed in your building’s common area or resident noticeboard.
 Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera to open the secure Ordit Registration Page.

 

2. Complete the Occupant Registration Form

Before registering your pet, you must first complete your occupant details, just like in the occupant registration process.

Fill in the following:

● First Name

● Last Name

● Phone Number

● Email Address

● Password

● Confirm Password

You will then be asked whether you are an Owner or Tenant.

If you are a Tenant, complete:

● Unit Number

● Real Estate Agency

● Real Estate Email

● Property Manager’s Name

● Property Manager’s Phone Number
 Then click Submit or Save.

If you are an Owner, provide:

● Unit Number

● CTS Number
 Then click Save.

 

3. Answer the Pet Registration Question

After completing your occupant details, you’ll see the question:
 “Do you have any pets?”

 Select Yes to proceed with registering your pet.
 If you select No, you can complete your registration without adding a pet.

 

4. Fill in the Pet Registration Form

If you selected Yes, you’ll be asked to provide details about your pet.

Complete all required fields:

1. Type of Pet – e.g., Dog, Cat, Bird, etc.

2. Breed – Specify the breed of your pet.

3. Pet’s Age – Enter your pet’s current age.

4. Pet’s Name – Provide your pet’s full name.

5. Council Registration Number – Enter the number assigned by your local council.

6. Sex – Select Male or Female.

7. Is Your Pet Desexed? – Choose Yes or No.

8. Is Your Pet Microchipped? – Choose Yes or No.

9. Additional Information – Add any relevant notes (e.g., behavioral details, medical info, or special needs).

Once all details are complete, select Add Pet to save your pet’s information.

 

5. Submit Your Registration

After adding your pet’s details, review all information to ensure accuracy.
Click Submit to complete the registration process.
Your Strata Manager or Building Owner will review and approve your pet registration.

After Submission

Once your registration is submitted:

● Your pet will be linked to your unit within the Ordit system.

● You’ll receive confirmation once your submission has been reviewed.

You can update or remove pet information later through your Ordit account if needed.

● QR Code Source: Provided by your Strata Manager or Building Owner.

● Supported Devices: Any smartphone or tablet with internet and camera access.

● Security: All registration details, including pet data, are encrypted and stored securely.

● Estimated Time to Complete: 3–5 minutes.

● Check your internet connection and refresh the page if needed.
