Guests can check in to a building quickly and securely using the Ordit QR Code provided by the Strata Manager or Building Owner. This digital check-in system records guest visits for security and compliance purposes while ensuring your information is safely stored within the Ordit platform.
When You Need to Use This
Use the QR code check-in process when:
● You are visiting a resident, tenant, contractor, or building manager.
● The building requires digital guest registration for entry and safety compliance.
● You need to log your visit to access building areas or attend a scheduled meeting.
Keeping your information updated helps building management maintain accurate records and communicate with you efficiently during your visit.
Step-by-Step: Using the QR Code as a Guest
1. Locate the QR Code
Find the QR code displayed at the building entrance, reception area, or other designated access point.
If you cannot find it, contact the Strata Manager or Building Owner for assistance.
2. Scan the QR Code
Open your smartphone camera and point it at the QR code.
You’ll automatically be redirected to a secure Ordit registration page in your web browser.
3. Register Your Visit
If this is your first time visiting, select “Yes, Not Registered – Register My Visit.”
You’ll then be asked to complete the online registration form.
Guest Check-In Form
Complete all required fields accurately:
1. First Name and Last Name – Enter your full name for identification.
2. Phone Number – Provide your contact number for communication.
3. Email Address – Used to record your visit and send confirmations.
4. Create a Password – Set a secure password for your digital guest profile.
5. Verify Password – Re-enter your password to confirm.
6. Person to Visit – Enter the name of the person you’re meeting.
7. Area to Visit – Specify the unit, office, or floor you will be visiting.
8. Review all information and click “Sign In to Proceed.”
Your check-in will be instantly recorded in the Ordit system.
If You’ve Checked In Before
If you’ve previously registered as a guest for the building:
● Scan the QR code again.
● Select your Check-In Role as Guest.
● Enter your email address and password to sign in.
Your saved information will appear automatically, making repeat visits faster.
Pick Your Check-In Role
When prompted, select Guest as your check-in role.
This ensures your visit is recorded correctly under guest access for building compliance and record-keeping.
After Check-In
Once you’ve checked in:
● Your visit is securely logged within Ordit for compliance tracking.
● You may receive notifications or instructions from the building management team.
● When your visit is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to sign out to finalize your digital record.
