How to Use the QR Code as an Occupant

Occupants can easily register and connect to their building in Ordit using a QR Code provided by their Strata Manager or Building Owner.


This registration process ensures your details are stored securely and linked to your building for communication, updates, and compliance management.

 

When You Need to Use This

Use the occupant QR code registration when:

● You are moving into a new building managed through Ordit.

● Your Strata Manager or Building Owner provides a QR code for digital registration.

● You need to receive building notices, documents, or maintenance updates through the Ordit system.

Step-by-Step: Signing Up as an Occupant

1. Locate and Scan the QR Code

Find the QR code displayed in your building or provided by your Strata Manager.
Scan it using your smartphone camera.
You will be redirected to a secure Ordit registration page.

 

2. Complete the QR Code Sign-Up Form

Fill in the following details:

Basic Information

1. First Name

2. Last Name

3. Phone Number

4. Email Address

5. Password

6. Confirm Password

You will then be asked whether you are an Owner or a Tenant.
 Select the option that applies to you.

 

3. If You Are a Tenant

Complete these additional fields:

1. Unit Number – The unit or apartment number you occupy.

2. Real Estate Agency – The agency managing your lease.

3. Real Estate Email – Contact email for the real estate agency.

4. Property Manager’s Name – Your assigned property manager.

5. Property Manager’s Phone Number – Direct contact for coordination or maintenance.

Once all details are complete, click Submit or Save to continue.

 

4. If You Are an Owner

Provide the following details:

1. Select Unit Number – Choose your unit from the list.

2. Provide CTS Number – Enter your building’s Community Titles Scheme (CTS) number.

3. Once complete, click Save to register your information.

 

5. Complete Registration

After you’ve entered your details (as either owner or tenant), click Sign Up to finalize your registration. Your details will be securely linked to your building’s Ordit account, and you’ll be ready to receive updates, communications, and documentation from your management team.

After Sign-Up

Once you’ve registered successfully:

● You’ll gain access to building communications and notices.

● Your details will be verified by the Strata Manager or Building Owner.

● You’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps or login information.
